The journal’s editors will document all manifestations of scientific dishonesty, including violations of the ethical principles applicable to science. Any detected cases of scientific dishonesty will be unmasked, and relevant entities (Authors’ employing institutions, scientific societies, associations of scientific editors, etc.) will be notified. The Author submitting the article for publication must confirm compliance with the principles related to ghostwriting and guest authorship, and sign a copyright transfer statement. Confirmation of the aforementioned and agreement to publish under a free, territorially and temporally unlimited, nonexclusive licence is required from the Author submitting the text to the publishing process and constitutes a condition thereof. The publication agreement comes into effect as soon as the text is approved for editing (after two positive reviews and a decision by the Managing Editor or Editorial Committee). The copyright transfer agreement constitutes the legal basis for publishing the article in Studies in Geography.
