Og\u00f3lnopolsk\u0105 analiz\u0105 obj\u0119to lata 2006-2016, co umo\u017cliwi\u0142o prze\u015bledzenie zmian w czasie, za\u015b szczeg\u00f3\u0142owa inwentaryzacja przeprowadzona (metod\u0105 desk research) dla roku 2015 na poziomie wojew\u00f3dzkim pozwoli\u0142a na zbadanie przestrzennego zr\u00f3\u017cnicowania. Wykazano, \u017ce skala wsp\u00f3\u0142pracy gmin w gospodarce odpadami zdecydowanie r\u00f3\u017cni si\u0119 w zale\u017cno\u015bci od wojew\u00f3dztwa<br \/>(przy czym w wymiarze og\u00f3lnopolskim udzia\u0142 gmin w obu formach kooperacji jest por\u00f3wnywalny) oraz \u017ce zmienia\u0142a si\u0119 na przestrzeni lat (zw\u0142aszcza po \u201ereformie \u015bmieciowej\u201d w 2013 roku).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>S\u0142owa kluczowe:<\/strong> wsp\u00f3\u0142praca mi\u0119dzygminna, gospodarka odpadami, samorz\u0105d lokalny<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract: <\/strong>The article presents the scale of inter-municipal cooperation (IMC) in the municipal solid waste sector in Poland. It examines the number of IMC associations and IMC private law companies, their spatial distribution and the number of their participants in 2015. To detect the changes of the IMC scale between 2006 and 2016, the number of functioning IMC associations and the size of their budgetary expenditures on municipal<br \/> solid waste management in each year are compared. The essential sources of the data used in the analysis include the registry of associations, the Bulletin of Public Information, Ministry of Finance data and the Polish Company Register. The study has shown that at national level the percentages of municipalities cooperating in solid waste sector in the form of a company and association are comparable. At the same time the scale of IMC<br \/> differs significantly between regions and it was changing between 2006 and 2016. It increased especially after the reform of the municipal solid waste management sector in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key words:<\/strong> inter-municipal cooperation, solid waste management, local
