One manifestation of these changes is the development of infrastructure dedicated to pets, including dog parks. The aim of this article is to analyze the distribution, accessibility, and functions of dog parks in Warsaw, as well as to assess their role in social integration and potential isolation of users. The field study included the inventory and mapping of 16 parks, as well as in-depth interviews with their users. The results showed that dog parks play a crucial role in the urban ecosystem, contributing to the building of social bonds, although they may be perceived as exclusionary spaces by those who prefer to walk their dogs freely.
