Zgodnie z tez\u0105 autora nie s\u0105 one jedynie t\u0142em dla fabu\u0142y czy prezentowanych w powie\u015bciach pogl\u0105d\u00f3w, lecz pe\u0142ni\u0105 aktywn\u0105 rol\u0119 w tworzeniu najwa\u017cniejszych element\u00f3w atmosfery utwor\u00f3w: poczucia wyczerpania i szkodliwo\u015bci idea\u0142\u00f3w modernizmu, nastroju schy\u0142ku cywilizacji.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>S\u0142owa kluczowe:\u00a0<\/strong>przestrze\u0144 miejska, architektura, atmosfera, modernizm<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Abstract:\u00a0<\/strong>The article concerns the use of architecture in the novels of Michel Houellebecq. The aim of the article is to analyse the role played by the architectural and urbanistic motifs in Map and Territory and Whatever \u2013 two of the most important of the writer\u2019s novels. According to the author of the article those motifs are not merely the background of the story or ideas presented in the novels, but they play an active role in creating the most vital elements of the works\u2019 atmosphere: the feeling of exhaustion and mischievousness of modernist ideals and the mood of civilisational decay.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key words:\u00a0<\/strong>urban space, architecture, atmosphere, modernism<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Zalecany spos\u00f3b cytowania \/ Cite as:\u00a0<\/strong>Le\u015bniak A., 2019, Atmosfera hipermarketu spo\u0142ecznego.
