Zasadnicz\u0105 kwesti\u0105 przy planowaniu rozwoju jest znajomo\u015b\u0107 zasob\u00f3w obszaru, w tym ludno\u015bciowych, umiej\u0119tne ich powi\u0105zanie i wykorzystanie. S\u0142u\u017cy temu przygotowanie studium demograficznego, jako obrazu zale\u017cno\u015bci mi\u0119dzy zasobem ludno\u015bciowym a jego rozmieszczeniem w przestrzeni. Celem artyku\u0142u jest znalezienie zale\u017cno\u015bci rozmieszczenia i g\u0119sto\u015bci ludno\u015bci w szczeg\u00f3lnym uk\u0142adzie funkcjonalnym \u2013 Obszarze Metropolitalnym Gda\u0144sk-Gdynia-Sopot.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>S\u0142owa kluczowe: <\/strong>obszar metropolitalny, zas\u00f3b demograficzny, kapita\u0142 ludno\u015bciowy, g\u0119sto\u015b\u0107 zaludnienia<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Abstract: <\/strong>Along with the new financial perspective of the European Union in Poland, there is finally a chance for a well-thought-out use of the potential of areas related functionally, not limited by administrative boundaries, using a joint development initiative. The basic issue regarding development planning is the knowledge of resources of the area (including population), and skilful usage of their interrelationships. This can be achieved with the help of the demographic study of the area which sheds a light on the relationship between the population resource and its distribution in space.
