Abstract: Child marriage is one of the more frequent social problems in developing countries, especially in Indonesia; the government is hardly concerned about this and relates it to population control. This has the potential to escalate into a serious problem that will symmetrically affect the economy if the number of child marriages continues to increase. This study aimed to apply a profile analysis approach to measure the significant difference and to understand the characteristics of child marriages in each Indonesian province. The country is divided into four regions based on the main development area over 4 years from 2016 to 2019. The findings from the parallel hypothetical test suggest that the child marriage profile from each region is not parallel, and each region has its unique characteristics. Therefore, appropriate policies should be introduced separately for each region, such as enhanced education quality, social assistance and protection programs for children, social participation models, and collaborative governance-based city/village programs. The most important conclusions: policy advocacy to reduce the practice of child marriage for governments everywhere, including Indonesia is carried out through good planning and implementation of child marriage prevention policies will increase children’s productivity for their future lives.

Abstract: Microbreweries and beer tourism are a good example of the „neolocalism” turn in the globalized world. As a reaction to the unified beer offer of the large transnational brewery groups, there is a clear increase of the consumers’ demand for the bigger diversity of the beer offer. Seeking for the new beer styles in unique places – the beer tourism – is targeted not just to the microbreweries, but also to multitap restaurants with the large beer offer and to the beer festivals. The goal of this paper is to map the growing popularity of these beer tourism destinations in the Czech Republic and Poland and also among the big cities and smaller municipalities, and to compare the openness to the foreign beer brands and styles among the consumers in both countries.

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to identify influence of selected factors on the repeat purchase of a package tour based on the responses of the selected customers in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The main factors are divided into three main groups as staff, environment and offer and each of these groups consists of other selected factors. Analyses of frequency responses and frequency distribution of data were used. Statistical hypotheses were formed, reflecting the relationship between the difference in responses from the customers’ and selected quality factors, that may affect the repeated purchase of the package tour. Most customers of repeat purchase of the package tour are affected by professional behaviour, sufficient space, cleanliness, tidiness of company premises and corresponding ratio of price / quality. This study is important not only for the marketers’ but also for all employees in services. Knowledge of the consumer buying behaviour leads to huge long term benefits to the businesses in various regions not only in Europe.

Abstract: Cartographic competence has been determined as a very important one in the list of subject geographical competencies recorded in the State Standard of Secondary Basic Education of Ukraine. Since a geographic map is a system of landmarks with specific information based on field studies, aerial photographs and satellite images, and other cartographic sources, statistics and literature, the task of a geography teacher is to instil in pupils the necessary skills, which will result in cartographic competencies. Since it is impossible to study geography without a geographic map as a forming factor for spatial thinking, the authors of the article conducted an empirical research. The research and comparative analysis were conducted among the pupils, their parents and geography teachers in order to identify their cartographic knowledge, concepts and cartographic skills of the pupils. The aim of the article was to determine the role of the geography teacher as a consultant who forms the cartographic competence, the content of which consists of cartographic knowledge and map reading skills. The objectives of the paper includes evaluation of the pupils’ levels of cartographic competence, and determination of the correlation between the levels of the pupils’ cartographic competence and factors influencing its development. The theoretical analysis and empirical study resulted in developing the updated methodology for working with the maps on geography classes, and determining the role of a teacher who guarantees the formation of subject competence in cartography among pupils with the use of proper and relevant methodological instruments for teaching pupils’ cartographic competence. The results of the correlations that we received highlighted the important role of a geography teacher in forming the average and high level of the pupils’ cartographic competence.

Abstract: Indicators are the most commonly essential measurement tool of choice for many sustainability projects worldwide. They can be used to assess the progress toward sustainable development and understand the interlinkages within each component and between components of sustainability. The selection of indicators to measure sustainable development is an extremely complex and difficult task. Through an overall assessment and pointing out the limitations of existing sets of indicators for measuring sustainable development in Vietnam, this paper focuses on the way to create indicators that can be used to measure Vietnam’s sustainable development at both the national and subnational (provincial) level. Firstly, a framework of elements for economic, social, and environmental component was established and a list of indicators of 12 national and international agencies in the world was compiled. Then the research applied SMART criteria (SMART is an acronym of Specific, Measurable, Available, Relevant, Time-related) to select a set of relevant core indicators for Vietnam. Finally, 24 indicators which fully satisfy the SMART criteria were constructed with 8 indicators for each component.
This indicator system can be applied to measure sustainable development at both national and provincial level of Vietnam.

Abstract: The article deals with the issues of motives and the assessment of the balance of benefits and losses of a break in formal education in the form of a “gap year”, based on the experience of Polish students. The study was conducted in the form of a questionnaire interview with 15 respondents. There were identified four groups of motives for undertaking a gap year: social, psychological, educational and economic. Moreover, based on the premises underlying decisions to take a break, five categories of gappers were distinguished: “travelers”, “dropouts”, “gappers who repeat a year at university or retake the final high school exam”, “workers”, and “undecided”. Gap year is taken by young Polish people in specific life situations, usually when they: drop out of university, try to improve the results of the final high school exams, or want to have more time to plan their further education. Gap year is a time when tourist activity is often undertaken. The respondents claimed that the break in formal education had brought them more benefits than losses.

Abstract: The main aim of the article is to analyse the spatial layouts of selected settlement areas of the Josephine villages on the territory of former Galicia. After a short introduction on the legal aspects of demarcating of new villages, the primary forms of settlements were studied. In the first part of the article, the analyzes covered the following layouts of settlement areas: one-sided linear villages, two-sided linear villages and street-green villages. In the further part of the article, multi-road layouts were presented, including two- street layouts, radially -p lanned layouts, lattice chessboard layouts and cross-shaped layouts. The comparative analysis covers the discussion of all available types of settlement areas. Street layouts turned out to be the dominant pattern of settlement areas. After in-depth analyses, it is impossible to determine the regionalization of the linear villages’ distribution, as they were located throughout Galicia. The situation is different with the location of multi-road layouts, which were designed only in Eastern Galicia in the vicinity of Lviv. In the implementation of the assumed research problem, cartographic materials and source documents in the form of the Josephinian Cadastre, the Franciscan Cadastre and the Galician Cadastre obtained during searches conducted at the National Archives in Krakow, State Archives in Przemyśl and the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv were used.
